Professor Agrawal also developed a stream specific to entrepreneurship in artificial intelligence called NextAI, which is based out of Toronto. It is a program aimed at equipping Canada’s best young talent with the tools to succeed with early-stage AI business ideas.

Professor Agrawal currently serves on both the board and faculty of NEXT Canada. His coauthors of Prediction Machines, Professors Avi Goldfarb and Joshua Gans, are also on the teaching staff. Other notable institutions represented by the NEXT Canada faculty include Harvard, Georgetown, and MIT.
